Allocation Buckets: The pie chart below consolidates each of the network participant classifications into larger groups. Exact details about CIT's token allocation and supply schedule will be provided ahead of the token genesis event. In the meantime, we have provided some of the key characteristics, mechanics, and other important considerations for CIT within the Coaction Network. Note: These determinations are subject to change.
Supply Schedule: The supply schedule will either be Vesting or on an Emission schedule depending on Participant / Group bucket. When following an emission schedule, 2% is emitted per month based on the supply that has not been released for each group ("Remaining Supply").
For example, let's assume the total supply for a group is 300,000,000 CIT. In the first month, 6,000,000 CIT is emitted (300,000,000 x 2%). In the following month, the payout is reduced to 5,880,000 [(300,000,000 - 6,000,000) x 2%]. This continues into perpetuity to ensure CIT reward payouts never terminate, while still ensuring early supporters are adequately compensated.
Airdrop: Details to qualify for the CIT airdrop will be shared after the fact to avoid people from opportunistically gaming the system. However, we recommend you delegate to any validator that partners with Coaction Network and be active in our community, helping us share our goals and mission. The Airdrop Criteria will be shared ahead of the actual airdrop but after determination. Note: There will be a vesting schedule for claiming the airdrop.
